James Walter Robbins

James "Bill" Walter Robbins, Sr., age 92, of Randleman died Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation, Asheboro. Mr. Robbins was a native of Randolph County and served in the US Navy during WWII. Bill retired from Economy Drugstore in Randleman after 38 years of service, held 32nd degree Mason with Balfour Masonic Lodge and was a member of Berean Memorial Baptist Church. Bill is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Hawkins Robbins and son, Ernest W. Robbins. He is survived by son: Bill Robbins, Jr and his wife, Trudy D. of Burlington, NC; grandchildren, Brad Robbins and Nicole Coward both of Burlington, and Scott Robbins of Albany, Ga.;1 great grandchild. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 3, 2010 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will be held Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Rev. Joe L. Farlow officiating.
