Jim Pearman

James Gordon "Jim" Pearman, age 73, formerly of 301 W. Academy Street, Randleman died Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Woodland Hill Care & Rehabilitation, Asheboro. Mr. Pearman was born October 18, 1936 the son of W. Jesse and Marie Gordon Pearman. Jim was a native of Spartanburg, SC and a US Army Veteran. He was a member of the 1955 Graduating Class of Fairforest High School, Spartanburg and was retired from Fox Apparel. He also worked as a greeter at Walmart in Randleman. He loved sports, coached for many years in the Randleman Parks and Recreation Leagues and was active in the Randleman Senior Adults Association. He is preceded in death by one brother: Jerry F. Pearman. He is survived by one son: Scottie Pearman of Pleasant Garden, NC; one step-daughter: Brandi Pearman of Athens, AL; one brother and his wife: William Jesse Pearman,Jr. and Mary of Spartanburg, SC and his canine companion: Buddy. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 30, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will be Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, Randleman. Memorials may be made to Randolph County Senior Adults Association, 144 W.
