Jack Woodrow McCollum

Jack Woodrow McCollum, age 85, of 184 McCollum St., Randleman died Sunday, December 13, 2009 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mr. McCollum was born August 31, 1924 in Randleman, NC the son of Arthur McCollum and Ira Jane Harrell McCollum. Jack was a Navy Veteran of World War II. He was the owner of McCollum Oil Company in Randleman and a member of the First United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife: Jean Yow McCollum; son: Tim McCollum and his wife Martha of Randleman, NC; grandson, Jacob McCollum and his wife Ashley; granddaughter, Kasey Crotts and her husband Derrick of Sophia, NC; great grandson, Emery Crotts of Sophia, NC; great granddaughter, Maddie Crotts of Sophia, NC; great grandson, Sawyer McCollum of Randleman, NC, and one brother: Joe McCollum of Randleman, NC The family will receive friends Monday, December 14th from 6 to 8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will be Tuesday, December 15th at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church, 301 S. Main St., Randleman with Dr. Dana Bunn officiating. Burial with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard will follow in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 301 S.
