John Wayne Neal

Randleman - John Wayne Neal, age 66, of 102 Weaver St., Randleman died Tuesday, September 22, 2009. Mr. Neal was a native of Randolph County and served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He was employed by Klopman Mills and Galey and Lord for over 40 years and was currently employed with the Randolph County Schools. Also, he had served on the board of the Randleman Library for many years. Wayne is preceded in death by his father, Clint Neal and sister, Maxine Pugh. He is survived by his wife of 45 years: Phyllis Dixon Neal; daughter: Wendy Mahaney and her husband, Jimmy of Grand Rapids, MI.; daughter: Jennifer McClure and her husband, Paul of Climax, NC; beloved grandchildren: Tyler, Trevor, Katie , and Lauren; mother: Sarah Joyce Oliver of Asheboro; brother: Ricky Neal and his wife, Berta of Asheboro; brother: Randy Neal and his wife, Luann of Asheboro.The family will receive friends Friday, September 25, 2009 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC and other times at the home. The funeral will be held Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Friendship Baptist Church, 9696 US 220 Bus. North, Randleman with Rev. Rex Pollard officiating.
