Julius Gordon Massey

Julius Gordon Massey, age 77, of 102 Burgess Ave., Randleman died Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mr. Massey was a native of Sampson County and served in the US Army Reserves. He attended the Salvation Army Church in Asheboro and was a former Baptist Pastor in Randolph County. He is survived by his wife: Mary Ellen Massey; son: Billy Massey of Randleman; sisters: Billie Lunsford of Asheboro and Judy Brim both of Asheboro, and Jerra Underwood of Windblow The family will receive friends Friday, September 25, 2009 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Captain Curtis Kratz officiating.
