Eula Freeman Groce

Eula Freeman Groce, age 95, of 207 Church St., Randleman died Monday, May 25, 2009 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro.Mrs. Groce was the daughter of Eli and Maggie Beane Freeman. Mrs. Groce was a native of Randolph County and retired from wee sock hosiery mill and B.B. Walker Shoe Store. She was a member of Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church. Mrs. Groce is preceded in death by her husband, J. Boyd Groce, Sr. and her son, James B. Groce, Jr. and his wife, Bonnie. She is survived by daughter: Sue Glenn, and her husband, Bill of Randleman; grandson, David Glenn and his wife, Rhena of Randleman; granddaughter, Shelly Lacoss and her husband, David of Asheboro; grandson, Jay Groce and his wife, Sarah of Greensboro; granddaughter, Starla Dawn Glenn of Randleman; great grandchildren, Nikki Callicutt; Garrett and McKenzie Lacoss; Elizabeth, Christopher and Will Groce; great great grandchildren, Lauren, Taylor and Kathryn Callicutt.The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 27, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC and other times at the home. The funeral will be held Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, 119 W. River Drive, Randleman with Rev. Wade Craven and Rev. Jesse J. Carswell officiating.Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. Memorials may be made to Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 119 W. River Drive, Randleman, NC 27371
