Thaddeus Gray

Thaddeus Gray, Jr., age 67, Martinsville died Monday, March 23, 2009 at his home. Mr. Gray was a graduate of East Carolina University and worked for 3M Company for 17 years before opening his own business in industrial wood sales. Mr. Gray was a avid golfer. He loved restoring and driving cars, especially Jaguars. Thad was a huge Nascar and Virginia Tech fan. He was fun loving, ambitious, caring, and determined person and a member and former pianist at Old Union United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his father, Thaddeus Gray, Sr. He is survived by his wife: Virginia "Jennie" Gray; sons: Thaddeus Gray, III,and Andy GrayMother, Geneva Shaver Gray; sister, Janette & her husband, Morris Rice; sister in Law, Ruth and her husband, Graig Rogers; nephews and nieces, Craig Rogers, Jr. Christopher Rogers; Allen Rice, Jr., Ginger Taylor, Phillip Rice, Misty Long, Julie La Velle and Denise Powers; Special Brother-in-law, Raymond WhiteThe family will receive friends Wednesday, March 25, 2009 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will be held Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Rev. Barry Wall officiating. Burial will follow at Old Union United Methodist Church Cemetery, Sophia.
