Michelle Lynn Wood, age 40, of 1816 Lassiter Mill Rd., Asheboro died Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at her home. Michelle was a native of Randolph County and attended Randleman High School. She was employed at Baker Furniture in High Point and a licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator and First Responder. She is preceded in death by her father, Vernon Wood, Jr. She is survived by one son: Drew Glenn of Sophia, NC and one daughter: Katie Kearns of Asheboro, NC; mother, Shelby Jean Wood of Franklinville and one sister: Alisa Wood Moran of Thomasville, NC The family will receive friends Saturday, May 31, 2008 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC and other times at Country Manor Rest Home, Worthville Rd., Franklinville. The funeral will be Sunday, June 1, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Rev. John Auler officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
