Ken Daniels

Arthur Kenneth "Pappy" Daniels , Sr., age 98, of 103 Daniel St., Randleman went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at High Point Regional Hospital, High Point. Mr. Daniels was born January 1, 1910 at Red Cross, NC the son of the late John and Grace Wood Daniels. Mr. Daniels was a native of Randleman and retired from Burlington Industries after 40 years of service. He was a member of Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church where he was a Sunday School Teacher, a member of the Administrative Board and served on several committees. He loved his work in the church and was devoted in the work of the Lord. Mr. Daniels was preceded in death by his parents, John and Grace Wood Daniels; his wife, Bessie Williams Daniels; and sister, Lucille (Spark) Butler. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by daughter: Ann D. and her husband Ed Burrow of Randleman, NC; son: Arthur Kenneth (K) Daniels, Jr. of the home; grandchildren: Mark Burrow and Rod and his wife Leigh Burrow both of Randleman, NC ;great grandchildren: Kaleigh and Chase Burrow ; sister : Marie D. and her husband Jim Coble of Randleman, NC The funeral will be Thursday, May 15, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, 119 W. River Drive, Randleman, NC with Rev. Jesse Carswell and Rev. Marion Fulk, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 14, 2008 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC, and other times at the home of Ann Burrow, 351 Worthville Rd., Randleman, NC Memorials may be made to Mt.
