Doris Lanier

Doris "Dotty" Davis Lanier, age 72, of 7517 US Hwy. 311, Sophia died Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro. Mrs. Lanier was a native of Randolph County and a retired farmer. She was a member of Marlboro Friends Meeting. She is survived by her husband of 51 years: Lowell Lanier, son and his wife, Jim and Teresa Lanier of Randleman, daughter and her husband, Cathy and Mark Hunt of Sophia, grandchildren, Justin Hunt of Randleman, and Amanda Hunt of Sophia, sister and her husband: Peggy and Byron Farlow of Sophia, and special nieces Denise Farlow Jones and Debbie Farlow Surratt. A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Marlboro Friends Meeting Cemetery, 2668 Marlboro Church Rd., Sophia with Rev. John Sides officiating. The family will receive friends other times at the home.
