Bobby Joe Whittington

Bobby Joe Whittington, age 70, of 5066 Old Walker Mill Rd., Randleman died Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mr. Whittington was a life long resident of Randolph County and retired from Hughes Furniture Industries. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother. He is survived by three sons: Gary Whittington, and his wife Lisa, of King, NC, Barry Whittington, and his wife Stephanie, of Kernersville, NC,and Dale Whittington, and his wife Karen, of Winston- Salem, NC. Grandchildren, Ashley, Mitchell, Shelby, Alec, Kyrsten, Christina, Stacey, Matthew, Brandon, Brett, Brady, Bryan, and Amanda. One sister: Wilma Sechrest of Randleman, NC and one brother: Leroy Whittington of Pleasant Garden, NC. Special nieces and nephews, Karen, Tina, Ricky, and Jeffery. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 30, 2008 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC and other times at the home of his sister Wilma Sechrest, 5066 Old Walker mill Rd., Randleman. The funeral will be Monday, March 31, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Rev. Aaron Robbins officiating.
