Zora "Eloise" Riddle

Zora "Eloise" Huie Riddle was born, August 30, 1941 in Harmony, NC to Cowan Huie and Edna Campbell Huie. She passed from this life July 13, 2021. Eloise was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was also a devoted Christian and an active member of Centre Friends Meeting. She taught school for 30 years in Iredell, Randolph and Guilford Counties. After her retirement from teaching, she took a hostess job with Holiday Tours and enjoyed traveling and meeting new people. In addition to her parents, Eloise is preceded in death by her brother, John Huie. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, David Eugene Riddle; two sons, Calvin Riddle (Margaret) and Dalen Riddle (Melissa), and her three grandchildren, Adam, Jake and Campbell Riddle. She is also survived by one brother Elmer Huie (Lavonne) and sister-in-law Mary Huie. A service to celebrate her life will be held Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Centre Friends Meeting with Rev. Rusty Parsons and Rev. Tommy Sluder presiding. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service in the fellowship hall. Memorials may be made to Centre Friends Meeting, P.O. Box 632, Randleman, NC 27317.
