Michael Lewis Spencer

Michael Lewis "Mike" Spencer, age 61, of Randleman died Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mr. Spencer was born December 28, 1959 the son of Walter Lewis and Mildred Cox Spencer. Mike was a native of Randolph County and formerly worked at Commonwealth in Randleman. He enjoyed going to the beach, deep sea fishing and playing golf. Mike was a good family guy, loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. Mike is preceded in death by his father, Walter Lewis Spencer. He is survived by his wife: Fay Gaster Spencer of the home; son, Chris Spencer and wife Beth of Trinity; granddaughters, Ali Spencer and Kayla Lett both of Trinity; parents, Mildred and Edward Hoover of Franklinville; brother, Mitchell Spencer and wife Sandra of Asheboro; sister, Penny Hoover of Asheboro and numerous aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends Saturday, May 29, 2021 from 2:00 - 3:45 at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The memorial service will follow at 4:00 pm in the chapel with Pastor Mark Spencer officiating.
