Millis Lee "Nookie" Lucas

Millis Lee "Nookie" Lucas, age 76, of Randleman passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 at his home. Mr. Lucas was born January 27, 1945 the son of Perry Marvin and Reba Pierce Lucas. Millis was a native of Randolph County and a graduate of Randleman High School class of 1965. He served in the US Army and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church of Level Cross. Millis retired from furniture industry. In addition to his parents, Millis is preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Lucas and sister, Patricia Burrow. He is survived by his wife: Laura Heath Lucas of the home; daughter: Amy Lucas (Darren) of Asheboro; grandchildren: Zachary Lucas, Alex Lucas and Olivia Lucas all of Asheboro; sisters: Glenda Lambert of Farmer, Diane Baker of Randleman, Lydia Crozier of Randleman, Phyllis Lucas of Randleman, Ruby Mace of Randleman, and Julie Shanklin of Mass. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Pastor Brian Clark officiating.
