Obituary of Leonard Lee Gray
Leonard Lee Gray passed away on February 2, 2021 in Charleston County, SC. Leonard was born June 3, 1969 to Harrison and Betty Carol Gray. He was raised in the Cedar Square community of Randleman, NC. From an early age he enjoyed boyhood adventures with his friends and was quite a prankster. Leonard's tales always brought a lot of smiles and laughter, including the infamous story of his homemade fireworks. An outdoorsman like his father, Leonard enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his extended family and friends, but nothing brought him greater joy than his son and grandsons. Leonard was a devoted father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He was always the first to offer support and assistance when needed. Leonard is preceded in death by his father. He leaves behind his son, Justin and grandsons, Ashton, Kaiden and Jaxon of Wilmington; mother, Betty Gray of Randleman; brother, David Gray (Amy) of California; sister, Tonya Hayes (Brian) of Randleman; sister, Serina Hussey (Johnny) of Randleman; and a large extended family and numerous friends. The family would also like to acknowledge Leonard's employer, Filmwerx for their support during this difficult time. The family is grateful for the outpouring of love and support and asks you please help keep the family safe by following safety guidelines. Due to Covid restrictions, the family will not be present, but you are welcome to come by Pugh Funeral Home, 600 S. Main St., Randleman, NC 27317, Saturday, February 6, 2021 from 2-5 pm to sign the register. A private family service will be held. A Celebration of Leonard's Life will be planned at a later date.
