Rachel Vickers

Rachel Marsh Vickers, age 79, of Randleman passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at her home. Mrs. Vickers was born April 9, 1941 the daughter of Harvey and Nannie Morton Marsh. Rachel was a native of Wadesboro, NC. She graduated from Randleman High School in 1959 and attended Sunset Avenue Church of God. Rachel worked as a bookkeeper for Jefferson Standard Insurance Company, Randleman Church of God, and retired from Vick & Mack Truck Repair after 37 years of service. In addition to her parents, Rachel is preceded in death by her 3 brothers. She is survived by her husband of 60 years: Ronnie Vickers of the home; sons, Shoney Vickers, Jr. (Vicki), Randall Vickers, Ryan Scott "Scottie" Vickers (Trista) and Rodney Vickers (Angela); grandchildren, Morgan Vickers Marsh, Christopher "Ryan" Vickers, Cierra Vickers Echerd, Rachel "Brooke" Vickers, Andrew Vickers, and William "Will" Vickers; great grandchildren, Harper Vickers, Tristan Echerd, Hudson Marsh; sisters, Lois Wright, Pat McNeill, and Jean Turner. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Sunset Avenue Church of God, 900 Sunset Ave., Asheboro, NC with Rev. Tim Pheagin, Dr. Rodney Vickers and Dr. Michael Baker. A memorial video will be shown before and after the service.
