Donna Marie Earnhardt Muck
Our beloved Donna was released from the confines of her painful, diseased body and entered the arms of our Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 25, 2020. She was surrounded by her family when she was granted her wings and quietly flew away.
Donna was born in Asheboro, NC on November 29, 1964 to the late Homer Junior Earnhardt and the late Eva Kennedy Mintz Earnhardt. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Clara “Joy” Earnhardt Morris.
Donna is loved by so many people. Family meant everything to her and that included her work family. She was a faithful employee of Arrow/Teleflex since March 1984. She was a friend to many and was known to cook for anyone in need. It was just one of the ways she showed her love to friends and family. She was the first to volunteer to give a helping hand, whether it be food or monetary help.
We grew up on North Main St. in Randleman and she was a 1983 graduate of Randleman High School.
Her greatest pride and joy is her daughter, Delaney. She waited 40 years to be blessed with the daughter she always longed for and Delaney is the apple of her Mama’s eye. Delaney was never far from her mama’s mind and she told her repeatedly with her last breath how much she loved her.
In addition to Delaney, Donna loved family get-togethers, sitting around the table and playing card games, especially Phase 10. She loved the beach and playing in the ocean with Delaney. Her favorite color was blue-like her eyes. She loved Gone With the Wind and reading romantic novels.
Donna was the nucleus of our family and is greatly loved and a hole has definitely been cut in our hearts.
Survivors include: her husband, David Muck and daughter, Delaney Muck, both of the home. Sisters: Wanda Mintz, Carol Hall and Shelia Daniels of Randleman, Angela Earnhardt Galvan-Cruz, of Asheboro and one brother: Robert “Bobby” Mintz of Randleman. She has several loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 29, 2020 from 1:00 -2:00 pm at Central Falls Baptist Church, 1332 Old Liberty Rd., Asheboro, NC 27203. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Gerald Hussey officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Triad/Randolph Hospice.
