Margaret Winslow Allen- July 6, 1915-October 10, 2020
A beloved saint has returned to her heavenly Father and home at the amazing age of 105. Born in Randleman, NC, Margaret lived in her hometown until 1954 when she married her husband George, and took up the adventures of life as a military wife and mother. Margaret followed George to military postings from Washington, DC to Virginia to Japan to Alabama to Ohio, before they returned to North Carolina in 1967 to begin civilian life.
Always a woman of great faith, Margaret put God then family and friends first in her life. She never met a stranger, and with her kind spirit, everyone wanted to be included in her circle of friends. Never putting herself forward, her joy and faith in God's grace had a great impact those around her; she will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Ellen Winslow; her husband, George Allen, daughter, Georgia Allen, two sisters, four brothers and their spouses as well as several nieces and nephews. She is survived by and remembered fondly by numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
