Barbara Ann Pany

d. August 14, 2020

ASHEBORO - Barbara Ann Pany, 57, of Farmer, NC left this world Friday, August 14, 2020 with her husband and daughter by her side. She fought a courageous battle against cancer and never complained, as she always had a smile on her face. Born in Holland, Michigan, she was the most beautiful tiny baby girl born and was a genuine friend to anyone she met. She graduated from Randleman High School and Asheboro Business College with dreams to travel the world as a flight attendant. She was the owner of Sunshine Pets store in Randleman, NC which was another dream of hers that she made come true. She spent most of her time in Michigan and North Carolina. In 1982, she met her husband and they shared many adventures during their 37 years marriage including many memories made in Germany spending time with their family. In 1990, her baby girl Chelsey was born who was her most precious gift in life! Barbara loved her family and friends, never met an animal she didn't love, and enjoyed her sweet tea and romance novels. Although we will miss her dearly, we know Barbara is healed and reunited with those that were waiting to meet her in Heaven. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clyde & Loyace Eaton and Ollie Roberts & Ollie Dora; by her in-laws, Rudolf & Irmgard Pany; by her brother-in-law, Brandon King; and by her cousin and close friend, Michelle Vanderwal. Surviving are parents, Larry & Doris Eaton and Steve & Betty Miller; husband, Peter Pany; daughter, Chelsey Pany and boyfriend Michael Herron; by her sisters, Loyce and her husband Steve Brammer; Crystal and her husband Patrick Stevens; by her sister-in-law, Erica and her husband Dietmar Unterberger; by her nieces and nephews, Patrick Unterberger, Tanja Unterberger, Christian Brammer, Kirbie Brammer, Joshua Brammer, Ally Stevens, Evy Stevens, and Neely Stevens; by dozens of aunts & uncles, and by hundreds of cousins. In lieu of a memorial service, the family has decided to hold an outdoor cookout to celebrate her life with immediate family. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Randolph County Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
