Carl "Ricky" Rush

RANDLEMAN - Carl Ricky Rush, age 66, of Sophia died Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mr. Rush was born November 25, 1953 the son of Carl and Berlene Dunn Rush. Ricky was a native of Montgomery County and was employed as a furniture upholsterer most of his working life. He was a big fan of the North Carolina Tarheels and was a fan of baseball, basketball and football. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister: Lavonne Rush. He is survived by his wife: Diane Craven Rush and one son: Jonathan Dean Rush of Sophia, NC; sister and her husband: Sandra (Jesse) Knight of Ramseur, NC; and sister and her husband: Teresa (Roger) Parrish of Trinity, NC The funeral will be private.
