My Grandmother was in inspiration to what a strong, upstanding, Christine women should be. She stuck my her husband thru thick and thin, never judged and never said a bad word of anyone, always kind words. She was the glue that kept the family together.
She was a great example to me and to others and I hope to continue her morals and values in action.
I spent a lot of my childhood in her care and have nothing but found, fun memories of our time together.that seemed to pass to quickly. She would always tell me things that ended up to be so true. She would say the older you get the faster time will go..and one day you will look in the mirror and wonder who the old women staring back at you was. Boy did I find out how true those statements were.
I also admired her love and acceptance of all people no matter their color, religion or disability. She instilled in me we were all God's children and no one should be discriminated against due to their differences. She would always say one day..and this was in the 70s and 80s we would have a black President one day! And she was proud of the fact that she called it with the election of President Obama!
So I was always grateful for her forward thinking and the effect it had on me.
She always put others before herself and worked very hard to obtain and be able to do the things she did in life. To me she is the last strong, independent thinking.positive female role model in the Robbins family! She will be greatly missed! But her legacy will continue and I hope she looks down with that beautiful smile and know she was greatly loved and will be greatly missed and will finally be with her children that she both outlived! As well as others! Goodbye for now Granny Bobbins! I Love you!

I will always count it a great honor to been a care giver for Evelyn. She always had a smile for everyone she met. She kept us on our toes trying to name states, capitals and holidays. I don’t recall her ever complaining. She was blessed with family that loved her and cared for her deeply. Jennifer and Bill were as fine a family as I have had the privilege to work with. Thank you for sharing Ms. Evelyn with us. I pray God holds you in His arms and blesses you with precious memories❤️
