Jill Marie Rich

Jill Marie Rich, age 49, of Sophia died Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Jill was born on July 9, 1970 in Papua New Guinea, while her parents, Jim and Beulah Rich were working as missionaries. Jill was employed with UPS and a member of Poplar Ridge Friends Meeting. She loved her church, family and enjoyed reading. Jill loved her flowers, blueberry bushes and especially watching the birds, butterflies and bees. She is survived by her two daughters: Tequila Macon and her husband, Joshua of Ramseur, Tawame Watts and her husband, Jeremiah of Sophia; granddaughter: Shelby Watts; parents: Jim and Beulah Rich; six siblings: Nathaniel (Lorrie) Rich of Middleburg, PA, Randall (Kristie) Rich of Sophia, Jennifer (Esteban) Vela of Sophia, Janelle Rich of Sophia, Janet (Jaime) Costilla of Sophia and Raphael Yome of Sophia; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends. At Jill’s request, a private viewing for the family will be held.
