Frances Frazier Macon, 90, passed away Monday, April 20, 2020 at Hospice House of Randolph. She was a member of New Salem United Methodist Church where she had served as Sunday School Secretary. She worked as a chicken farmer while raising her two sons with her husband. During her sons' teenage years, she worked at Laughlin Hosiery Mill and later retired from Bossong Hosiery Mill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Macon, as well as parents, Floyd and Ethel Frazier. She is survived by sons, Mitchell Macon and wife Carla of Franklinville, Claude Macon and wife Jennifer of Randleman; brother, Raymond Frazier and wife Betty of Randleman; sister, Nancy F. Bailey and husband Bobby of High Point. She is also survived by three grandchildren and one great grandchild. The family would like to give a thank you to the staff at North Pointe Assisted Living of Asheboro for her care over the past few years. They would also like to extend a special thanks to Hospice House of Randolph County in Asheboro for the care and kindness shown in her final days. Due to COVID-19, a private service will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Salem United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 303, Randleman, NC 27317; or Hospice of Randolph, 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262.
