Donald Lawrence Williamson

Donald Lawrence Williamson, 73, of Randleman, NC went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Randolph Health with his family by his side after a long battle of health issues for a number of years. Mr. Williamson was born on April 4, 1947 to Willie Worthy Williamson and Mildred Miller Williamson. He had been employed for several years by Koury Corporation prior to his work injury in March of 2003. He enjoyed dancing, Nascar, keeping his yard beautiful, loving his family and always making people laugh and smile. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by Mitchell Williamson (Brother); Mildred Miller Williamson (Mother); O.D. Williamson (Brother); Willie Worthy Williamson (Father); Ronald Wayne Clark (Son); Mildred Leness Robbins (Sister). He is survived by his faithful, devoted, loving wife Cindy Williamson and their two fur babies Edie and Abby of the home that he loved very much. His children: Lisa (Pressley) Brower of Liberty, Scottie (Stacie) York of Asheboro, Bobbie Jo (Keith) Hatfield of Asheboro, Tammy Varner of Burlington, Donna Clark Coble (Billy) of Randleman, Donald Lawrence Clark of Randleman. Daughter-in-law, Sheila Clark of Randleman. He had Twenty Grandchildren and Eight Great Grandchildren. His siblings: Howard (Donna) Williamson of Texas, Ameryles (Kenny) Thomas of Randleman, Colleen Adams of Randleman, Bernadette Bowen of Asheboro, Phyllis Busbin of Salisbury, Gwendolyn McDowell of Franklin, Vivian Nutter of Asheboro, Vickie Williamson of Randleman, Richard Williamson of Randleman and numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends. The family would like to thank and acknowledge the close personal friends who were devoted to Mr. Williamson; Jimmy and Brenda Schoolfield; Charlene McDaniel; and Kathleen and Ed Brown. As well as a HUGE THANK YOU and ACKNOWLEDGEMENT to ALL of the doctors and staff members for the care they provided to Mr. Williamson and his family for several years. The services will be handled by Pugh Funeral Home 600 S. Main St. Randleman, NC 27317 and will be private.
