Saturday, July 20, 2019Debbie and Family, I am so sad to hear this news. I loved Pete. He was always so kind to call me and check on me, especially after the death of my husband. He truly was a "gentle giant". He stood tall among all men. He always shared some family history that I never knew or had forgotten. I know he loved you, the children and grandchildren so much. I will miss him. My prayers for strength, peace and comfort to all of you in the coming days. Cousin Betty

Saturday, July 20, 2019I was devastate and heart broken at the news of your passing.. God rest you my old friend.. Your friendship, humor, stories flood my thoughts as I shed tears and shared your stories with my wife. We had just mentioned you this morning as I was debating to mow the yard... "Scooby would say that I was just plain sorry... You can't even see the dog's tails above the grass! Sorry~just sorry!". Thank you for the laughter, your friendship and for your bigger than life way of making people laugh.. God rest you my friend... "Popeye and Yellow Bird" are waiting to welcome you home. As my brother "lowprofile" would have said... Cya when I cya 10~ Rest well.. Big John..
