Lucille "Lulu" Stanley

Mary Lucille Stanley, age 66, of Asheboro went home to be with her Savior Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Woodland Hill Care & Rehabilitation, Asheboro.

Mrs. Stanley was born August 2, 1951 the daughter of James and Mary Murphy Lewallen. Lucille also known as Lulu, loved going to the City of Refuge Worship Center in Randleman where she was a member of The Lord's Handmaids and enjoyed the praise and worship. She enjoyed going to the beach, listening to gospel music, all the holidays, and gatherings with friends and family. In addition to her parents, Lulu is preceded in death by her husband, Dail Stanley and sister Martha Ann Curol.

She is survived by her sisters: Faye Beane and husband Phillip (Tadpole), and Barbara Pinnix and husband David; 5 nieces; 5 nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 1:00-1:45 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 in the chapel, with Pastor Donna Moore and Pastor Danny West officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
