Claude "Billy" Ray Edwards

Claude Ray "Billy" Edwards, age 73, of Trinity died Monday, February 12, 2018 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro.

Mr. Edwards was born April 21, 1944 the son of Claude and Onnie Wooley Edwards.

Billy retired from Burlington Industries with over 30 years of service. He was a member of the Barn Raisens. Billy enjoyed playing golf, going fishing, and watching NASCAR. A simple man with a big heart that everyone loved. In addition to his parents, Billy is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Edwards.

He is survived by his daughter: Angela Hewett and husband Randy of Bolivia, NC; Son: Raymond Lee Clark of Bolivia, NC; grandchildren: Nicole, Jayden and Keithian Hewett; great grandchildren: Emma and Ella Powell; and all of his very good friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 10:00-10:45 AM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM in the chapel with Pastor Audie Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
